Floss Barnett Howland Shiatsu
Floss attended both the British School of Shiatsu Do and The Bristol School of Shiatsu qualifying in 2001. After nearly 25 years of practicing she is now a Fellow of the Shiatsu Society and works with people of all ages from all walks of life with all sorts of needs. She has also worked with many elderly at Sexeys hospital and many women in need of support around fertility, pregnancy and particularly natural induction to bring about labour.
As part of her continued professional development through the years she now offers Hot Stones and Acutonics (like acupuncture but with tuning forks working with moving sound through the body) which work wonders in combination with Shiatsu and helps to bring further depth and harmony to her practice.
Having trained in dance in her youth she left and went on a journey to find out how she could nourish herself whilst helping others to nourish themselves... Shiatsu is where she found this and absolutely loves it! Interested by what makes us who we are she found the eastern philosophy fascinating as it delves into every aspect of health on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level and how we connect to nature including the cosmos.
She is committed to supporting others on their health journey however deep they want to dive.
